Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy Services in NY

Below you'll find information about the therapy services I provide to help you or your loved one on your journey towards growth, well-being, and mental wellness. I specialize in neurodiversity-affirming therapy, working with individuals with autism and ADHD, and I also provide comprehensive therapy services for adults, teens, and children and their families navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and a wide range of other challenges.

In-person sessions are offered on Wednesdays in Garden City, NY.

Virtual sessions are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout New York State.

Therapy for Adults
(Ages 18+)

Discover a journey of authentic growth in a welcoming and supportive  environment. My approach is inclusive of diverse ways of thinking and experiencing the world, honoring individual differences and fostering self-fulfillment.

Therapy for Teens
(Ages 13-17)

Supporting teens in building a strong sense of self and developing self-advocacy skills through therapy that recognizes and affirms diverse experiences, including neurodivergent profiles. While some parent involvement is necessary, the main focus is on the teen's growth during adolescence.

Therapy for Children and Families (Ages 5-12)

Engaging therapy for younger children. Sessions are designed to address emotional and behavioral challenges while recognizing the crucial role of parents in a child's well-being.  Parent/guardian involvement is a necessary component of these sessions, with the amount of parental participation generally increasing for younger children.

My Approach to Therapy

I offer a flexible, collaborative approach to therapy that’s shaped by your needs—not a one-size-fits-all formula. I draw from a range of evidence-based practices to find what works best for you, including:

  • Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy - Recognizing and honoring neurological differences as natural variations in how people think, feel, and experience the world—not as problems to be fixed

  • Client-Centered Therapy - Emphasizing empathy, nonjudgment, and a collaborative relationship—where your voice, experiences, and insights are central to the work we do together.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) - Exploring how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected—and learning to shift unhelpful patterns

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) - Supporting you in staying connected to your values while learning to navigate difficult thoughts or emotions with greater flexibility and self-compassion

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) - Building practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and staying grounded during stress

  • Mindfulness-based techniques - Encouraging presence, self-awareness, and kindness toward yourself in the moment

These approaches serve as tools rather than rigid protocols. Whether you're seeking help for anxiety, depression, life transitions, or neurodevelopmental differences, I adjust my methods to match your unique needs, preferences, and learning style.
